Filippo Mane was born on March 8, 2005, in Magenta, located in Italy’s greater Milan area. His footballing education began at Vela Mesero. He eventually found his way to Borussia Dortmund via the youth systems of Novara Calcio and Sampdoria Genoa.
The then 16-year-old left his native country to join BVB in early 2022. Just a few months later, he moved up to the U-19s. One of Mane’s most notable achievements to date has been winning the Premier League International Cup, a youth tournament held in England and featuring teams from various countries. In the final, he logged 60 minutes, making an important contribution to his side’s triumph.
