Matchday 31 of the Bundesliga season will see second-placed Borussia Dortmund travel away to leaders FC Bayern Munich. Kick-off is at 18:30 CET on Saturday evening.

Last Saturday saw Borussia Dortmund secure qualification for the UEFA Champions League for next season. BVB cannot be ousted from the top four spots in the Bundesliga in the final four matchdays of the current campaign. The Black & Yellows picked up their 61st, 62nd and 63rd points of the season last Saturday and will be looking to carry the momentum from their 6-1 home thrashing of VfL Wolfsburg into their upcoming clash in Munich.

"I'm expecting us to be able to take the energy from that match with us," said BVB coach Marco Rose. "But this is a different challenge, a different opponent, a different quality and an away match. So there will be some resistance for us to overcome. We'll need to produce a committed and courageous performance in Munich."

Their opponents will have the opportunity to become German champions on Saturday. "They will play with this in mind. We want to stop it from happening. We played a good game last Saturday, we need to perform at an even higher level and consistently across the 90 minutes," commented Rose. "It will be a case of defending against their offensive power but also being dangerous in attack ourselves and creating goalscoring opportunities."

In addition to the long-term injury absentees, the coach will be without Gregor Kobel, who has sustained a ligament injury, and Axel Witsel, who will miss out with an infection. There are still question marks over Marius Wolf and Dan-Axel Zagadou. A decision on their involvement will be taken based on the final training session on Friday. Rose will be able to call upon Raphael Guerreiro and Felix Passlack again, however.
