In the friendly against FC Basel, Sebastien Haller made his second appearance in the Black & Yellow jersey and scored a hat-trick to help the team to a 6-0 win. All his teammates were delighted for the striker. Gregor Kobel and Salih Özcan spoke after the final whistle.

Sebastien Haller: ''It's the best possible feeling: coming back, scoring goals, helping the team, feeling my body grow stronger every day. I couldn't have imagined anything better, not just for me, but for the team as a whole. We're going to try to work together and carry on in this vein. I hope that I can be effective and helpful for the team. The way everybody celebrated with me goes to show the spirit we have in the team. No matter what happens on the pitch, we can sometimes forget that we're all people, and it's important that we stick together. Everyone knows that it wasn't an easy situation, and that the best feeling for a striker is being back in action and finding the back of the net. I know to appreciate that. Everyone was so happy for me. I hope that I can score more goals."

Gregor Kobel: "A fantastic performance from Sebastien Haller. He sees the danger area and he attacks it. He fired home the third goal with such composure. That's what you want to see from a top striker. We got off to a slightly slow start, but we really hit our stride after the first 30 minutes. 6-0 tells you all you need to know about the game."

Salih Özcan: ''It was a tough test. They made it difficult for us at the beginning, but overall you could see the quality we have in our team. We kept our shape well and tried to implement our game plan. It certainly worked out well. We tried to counter-press more. I think you could see that throughout the game. We are really happy for Seb for how things worked out today. He wasn't far off against Düsseldorf, but today he scored a hat-trick. It couldn't have gone better for him.''
