The eight-time German Champions and current DFB Cup winner Borussia Dortmund launched their Chinese website on Wednesday. After the English, Japanese and Spanish and since April the French language websites, this is now the fifth different language version of the official club website. The large number of Chinese Borussia Dortmund fans will receive all the latest news and background information in and around the team from now on via www.borussia-dortmund.cn

Carsten Cramer, the BVB Sales and Marketing Director said: “Chinese is not only the most widely spoken language worldwide next to English, but we also see more and more interest in Borussia Dortmund especially in China. We want all BVB Chinese fans and friends to have the opportunity to experience the fascination surrounding Borussia Dortmund as close as possible through the Chinese website as another digital channel in their own language during our Asia tour this summer and on a continued basis 365 days a year.”

The new website was developed by Borussia Dortmund in close cooperation with the Mailman Group and the new platform provider Hupu. The website provides information on all BVB players and BVB news in the Chinese language and in addition it provides comprehensive information and performance data on the players and also constantly updated photo galleries, with some of the photos being exclusive BVB pictures. The website has been designed to adapt in the best possible way to both mobile gadgets and desktop computers.
