Borussia Dortmund all-rounder Erik Durm, 26, is set to join Premier League club Huddersfield Town with immediate effect. The seven-time Germany international, who was part of the 2014 World Cup-winning squad, made 64 Bundesliga appearances for BVB (two goals), as well as playing 18 European matches and 14 DFB Cup ties.

Durm's move to Huddersfield Town will see him reunited with German coach David Wagner, whom he worked alongside with the BVB U23s in the third tier. "We'd like to thank Erik Durm for his commitment to BVB and, having suffered so long with injuries, we wish him all the best for his fresh sporting start in the United Kingdom," declared BVB Sporting Director Michael Zorc.
