Travel information for the home game against Munich
Train services
NWL Nahverkehr Westfalen-Lippe have announced that some routes are closed due to construction work:
- RB 53 (Dortmund - Schwerte - Iserlohn): Cancellation and rail replacement service from Dortmund via Schwerte to Iserlohn (Max-Planck-Gymnasium/Ardeystrasse stop)
- RE 57 (Dortmund - Arnsberg - Winterberg/Brilon): cancellation on the section from Dortmund to Fröndenberg/Meschede and replacement by rail replacement service (Max-Planck-Gymnasium/Ardeystrasse stop)
- RB 59 (Dortmund - Soest): Cancellation and rail replacement service between Holzwickede and Unna
- Special train TRI to Hamm: Due to the closure between Holzwickede and Unna, the special train will run from the station Signal Iduna Park via Dortmund main station and Kamen to Hamm (without stopping at the main station on the journey).
There is also a closure of the S4 (Dortmund-Stadthaus - Unna).
Arrival:
- The special TRI train will be cancelled.
- The RB 52 from Lüdenscheid will stop at the Signal Iduna Park station at 17:17 CET.
Departure:
- The special train in the direction of Lünen is cancelled.
- The TRI special train departs at 21:02 CET from the Signal Iduna Park station signal via Dortmund main station (21:10) to Hamm.
- The RB 52 in the direction of Lüdenscheid departs at 20:42 CET from Signal Iduna Park station.
By car
If you are travelling by car, please note the construction work in the B1 tunnel on Ardeystraße. Only one of the two tunnel tubes is open to traffic, the other tube is closed because it is being renovated. There could be traffic jams in the tunnel on match day.
Due to parallel events in the Westfalenhallen, car parks A3 and A4 are not available for visitors to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK.
Combination tickets and passenger information
BVB admission tickets are valid on the day of the match as a combined ticket for one return journey each. The ticket can be used on all surcharge-free local trains (2nd carriage class) and all buses and trains operated by local transport companies throughout NRW. The DSW21 ticket can be ordered free of charge at https://kombiticket.dsw21.de/.
