DFB-Pokal: Second round to be drawn on Sunday

Borussia Dortmund qualified for the second round of the DFB-Pokal by beating Phönix Lübeck 4-1. The 16 pairings for this round will be drawn on ZDF at around 17:10 CEST on Sunday.

The matches in the second round will be played on 29 and 30 October 2024. ZDF will broadcast the draw, which will take place at the German Football Museum in Dortmund, live. Sonja Greinacher, an Olympic champion at 3x3 Basketball, will do the draw.

There will be two pots containing professional and amateur teams. Draws will be made first from the amateur pot and then from the professional pot. If there are no more names in one pot, the remaining teams in the other pot will be drawn against each other. The team drawn first will have home advantage.
