DFB-Pokal: BVB to face Bayer Leverkusen in the round of 16

Borussia Dortmund will face Bayer Leverkusen at home in the round of 16 of the 2025/26 DFB-Pokal at the beginning of December. This was revealed in the draw on Sunday evening.

Sailor Felix van den Hövel drew the eight round of 16 pairings on Sunday at the German Football Museum in Dortmund. BVB won 1-0 against Rot-Weiss Essen in the first round of this year’s cup competition in mid-August and won on penalties against Eintracht Frankfurt in the second round on Tuesday. The DFB will announce the exact scheduling for the fixtures at a later date; the matches will be played on 2 and 3 December.
