New Bundesliga season to start on 28 August 2026

The provisional schedule for the 2026/27 season has been finalised: the Bundesliga will kick off on 28 August 2026, before the winter break begins after Matchday 14 (18 to 20 December 2026).

The Bundesliga clubs will resume play on 8 January 2027. The season will end with Matchday 34 on 22 May 2027.

The first round of the DFB-Pokal will take place one week before the start of the 64th Bundesliga season (21 to 24 August 2026). The DFB-Pokal final will be played on Saturday, 29 May 2027, at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

The dates for the Super Cup and the European competitions in the coming season have also been set. All the dates are available at a glance here.
