UEFA Champions League: the ticker for the game against Bodø/Glimt

On Wednesday evening, Borussia Dortmund will welcome Norwegian side FK Bodø/Glimt to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK on Matchday 6 of the 2025/26 Champions League season. Kick-off is at 21:00 CET (live on DAZN). Coach Niko Kovac and midfielder Julian Brandt have taken their places on the podium in the press conference room at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. In addition to the well-known German journalists, many colleagues from Norway are also present today.

"Norwegian football has developed really well in recent years. They have enjoyed a lot of success at both national team and club level. Qualifying for the World Cup shows that they are doing a very good job there and that there are many good players who play for big clubs,” says BVB coach Niko Kovac. “Julian (Ryerson, note) plays for us and has played a very big part in the Norwegian national team’s performance and also in our success. What is happening in Norway at the moment is really great.”

Julian Brandt explains: “I think we’re highly motivated for the game, as always. It’s the Champions League. We look forward to every game, especially the games here at home.”

BVB will play tomorrow in their cup kit – yellow shirt, black shorts, yellow socks. Bodø/Glimt will switch from their usual yellow kits to white, with light blue details.

In perfect autumn weather, Borussia Dortmund completed their final training session ahead of tomorrow's clash. After warming up, the Champions League balls rolled across the training ground in Dortmund-Brackel.

+++ 10:30 CET: Last chance to secure tickets for a BVB home match in 2025 +++
Anyone who wants to be there when the floodlights come on and the Champions League anthem rings out at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK tomorrow evening can still secure the last few tickets for the match against Bodø/Glimt in the online ticket shop. This is the last chance in 2025 to purchase tickets for a home game, as the Bundesliga match against Borussia Mönchengladbach on 19 December is already sold out. The secondary market for the Champions League match will remain closed for the time being.

Before the ball starts rolling tomorrow at Strobelallee, we'll first be reporting from Dortmund-Brackel. The Borussia players will be putting the finishing touches to their preparations for the match against Bodø/Glimt at the BVB training ground.
