Paul Lambert becomes an ambassador for Borussia Dortmund in Asia

1997 Champions League winner, Paul Lambert, will be Borussia Dortmund's representative in Asia with immediate effect, using his many years of experience on and off the pitch to represent the Black & Yellows.

In his new role, Lambert will support BVB in club partnerships throughout Asia and act as an ambassador for BVB's values and traditions in the region.

Paul Lambert played for BVB from 1996 to 1997. Although his time in a BVB shirt lasted just one-and-a-half years, he became a fan favourite in Dortmund at record speed in the 96/97 season. The defensive midfielder never shied away from a tackle and was thus a perfect fit in the Ruhr region.
