The BVB squad for the Club World Cup

On Friday, Borussia Dortmund's first-team squad will set off for the FIFA Club World Cup in the USA. The Borussia players will prepare for the tournament in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where they will also spend the time between matches. Here is the list of players making the trip.

Long-term injury victim Nico Schlotterbeck is missing, as are captain Emre Can and Salih Özcan. Can is still struggling with adductor problems, while Özcan suffered a hamstring injury with the Turkey national team.

The Black & Yellows kick off the tournament on 17 June (12:00/18:00 CEST) in New Jersey against Fluminense. On 21 June (12:00/18:00 CEST) they will face Mamelodi Sundowns, followed by Ulsan HD four days later (25 June, 15:00/21:00 CEST). Both games will be played in Ohio.
