Coulibaly moves to Alsace

Central defender Soumaila Coulibaly, 21, is leaving Borussia Dortmund and joining French top-flight club Racing Strasbourg with immediate effect.

The France U20 international, who came through the ranks of the Paris St. Germain youth academy, spent last season on loan at Stade Brest and made 16 appearances (including eight in the UEFA Champions League). Coulibaly made one appearance for BVB in both the Bundesliga and Europe's elite club competition.

"Soumi is an outstanding guy who has unfortunately repeatedly had injuries to contend with in the past. He has now signed a long-term contract in Strasbourg and can return to his home country. We wish him all the best and, above all, lasting good health," said BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl.
