Rain in Marbella, tempo on the pitch: BVB carry out intensive session
The influence of the weather was also evident on the pitch: the players were wrapped up warmer than on the previous day – hats, gloves and scarves were in high demand. Waldemar Anton, who had recently been injured and had already announced his return, was part of the training group. After the warm-up programme, the ball quickly came into play, and the fans watching on the sidelines got their money’s worth: there was high intensity during an exercise on a small field, when three teams had to take turns playing as many passes in succession as possible. The subsequent attacking exercise was three against two on one large and two small goals, so the spectators were treated to lots of shots and goals.
