BVB Women Extend Annika Enderle's Contract Through 2028
“Annika is an all-around offensive player who always puts the team first. We’re confident that at this stage of her career, she still has a lot of potential that she can develop to the fullest here at BVB as part of this team,” said sporting director Ralf Kellermann.
Enderle joined BVB in January 2025 from Bundesliga club SGS Essen. With her three goals against FC Schalke 04 in the Westfalenliga and the Westfalen Cup final, she not only became a derby hero but also played a decisive role in the successful 2024–25 treble-winning season. In 52 competitive matches for Borussia Dortmund so far, she has scored 26 goals and set up 23 more. Last season, she was the third-leading scorer (15) and second-leading assist provider (13) for the BVB Women.
Annika Enderle said of her early contract extension: “I’ve been here for almost two years now, and I’ve felt right at home from day one. Over the past two years, I’ve seen what the club is investing in the women’s division and what’s being built here. It makes it all the more wonderful that I can continue to play here and keep developing. This is also a sign of appreciation, for which I am grateful.”
