Bensebaini Scores the Winning Goal for Algeria

The international break is coming to an end. While the first Borussians have returned to Dortmund and resumed training in Brackel, three members of the first team were still in action with their national teams on Tuesday evening.

Algeria won 2-1 in a friendly match against Niger. Ramy Bensebaini, who came on as a substitute in the 61st minute, scored the winning goal from a penalty kick about ten minutes later to seal the victory.

Ethan Nwaneri played in the first half of the England U21 team’s match against the Irish U21s. In the U21 European Championship qualifiers, his team lost 1–3 on the road.

Enzo dos Santos was also substituted at halftime. Playing for Luxembourg, the Borussia Dortmund player lost 0–2 to Bulgaria in a Nations League match.

Gregor Kobel was not named to Switzerland’s roster for the Nations League match against North Macedonia. The Swiss won 3-0.
