Jobe Bellingham Named to the English National Team for the First Time

A great honor for Jobe Bellingham! The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has been called up to the English senior national team for the first time.

The 21-year-old is now part of the “Three Lions” squad, which will play two matches in the UEFA Nations League next week. On 12 November (8:45 p.m.), the English national team will face Croatia, and three days later (8:45 p.m.), coach Thomas Tuchel’s team will travel to Spain for an away match.

Bellingham came up through the youth ranks of the English Football Association (FA) and captained the U-21 team onto the field in October. Now, for the first time, he has been called up to the senior national team, which also includes his older brother, Jude Bellingham.
