The Black & Yellow schedule for March

Before the international break in March, Borussia Dortmund’s professionals will play three Bundesliga matches, two of them at their home ground, SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. The women’s handball team will battle for the title at the Final4 in the DHB-Pokal.

Saturday, 7 March (18:30 CET): 1. FC Köln – BVB
The score was 0-0 for a long time in the first leg, but then Maxi Beier scored in the sixth minute of stoppage time to secure a celebrated 1-0 home win for Borussia. The last away game on the Rhine also went to BVB in January 2024, when Donyell Malen (2), Niclas Füllkrug and Youssoufa Moukoko scored in a 4-0 victory.

Saturday, 14 March (15:30 CET): BVB – FC Augsburg
BVB were unbeaten against Augsburg in home games for around ten years, then lost 1-0 to the Fuggerstadt side almost exactly a year ago. The Black & Yellows won the first leg 1-0 thanks to a goal from Serhou Guirassy. Now Borussia want to start a new home winning streak against FCA.

Saturday, 14 March (19:00 CET): Women’s handball – HSG Blomberg-Lippe
As last year, the BVB women’s handball team has advanced to the Final4 of the DHB-Pokal. This time, the Borussia women want to win the title in Stuttgart. In the semi-finals, they will first face HSG Blomberg-Lippe, who have already lost to the Borussia women in the Handball Bundesliga Women this season. HSG Bensheim/Auerbach and Thüringer HC will contest the second semi-final. The final will take place on Sunday, 15 March.

Saturday, 21 March (18:30 CET): BVB – Hamburger SV
Hamburger SV are returning to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK for the first time since February 2018. Eight years ago, BVB won 2-0 thanks to goals from Michy Batshuayi and Mario Götze. HSV were subsequently relegated to the Bundesliga 2, but made a successful return last summer. In the first leg, the two teams drew 1-1 after BVB took a 1-0 lead.

Wednesday, 25 March (19:00 CET): BVB Legends – Benfica Legends
