BVB Women Extend Contract with Ann-Sophie Vogel

Borussia Dortmund has extended Ann-Sophie Vogel’s (28) contract early by two years. The fullback signed a new contract through 30 June, 2029.

Sports Director Ralf Kellermann says: “Ann-Sophie is one of the longest-serving players at BVB, and with her mentality, dedication, and physicality, she has not only become a key pillar of the team but also a great role model. That’s why we’re very happy to have set the course early on to continue down this successful path together with her.”

Vogel joined BVB from VfL Bochum in 2024. In her first season, she immediately won the triple—the Westphalian Championship, the District Cup, and the Westphalian Cup—with Borussia Dortmund. With 63 competitive appearances for the Black and Yellows, she holds the record for most appearances on the current roster. She has scored eight goals and provided 28 assists so far—also the current team high.

“Something truly great is taking shape here, and it fills me with pride and joy that I get to help shape this journey. I’m delighted that the coaching staff and club officials have placed their trust in me and see something in me that can continue to benefit the club and the team in the future,” said Ann-Sophie Vogel.
