On the final day of the transfer window, Borussia Dortmund signed English attacking player Ethan Nwaneri on loan from Arsenal FC. On Thursday morning, the 19-year-old took part in his first team training session at BVB and was immediately praised by head coach Niko Kovac for his soccer skills and fitness.

“Ethan is a fit player who, in theory—and perhaps in practice as well—could play right away. He has very good technical skills; we’ve already seen that in training,” said Niko Kovac on Thursday ahead of the Bundesliga match against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
