13 February 2015: 4-2 victory over Mainz after contract extension
A wanted player at the time, the then 25-year-old made a remarkable statement: Reus extended with BVB until 2019 despite Borussia being in 16th place in the table at the time. The stadium was already exuberantly celebrating the extension before the game and the 4-2 win over Mainz 05 – including a Reus goal (55) – made it a perfect evening. BVB managed to qualify for the Europa League at the end of the season.
26 August 2018: 100th Bundesliga goal

With 169 goals for Borussia Dortmund in total, the Dortmund native occupies second spot on the club's all-time record goalscorer list behind Adi Preißler (177).
4 November 2023: 400th Bundesliga game
More pleasing than the result of the match against FC Bayern (4-0 defeat) was the reason for the tribute paid before the game: Marco Reus was presented with an award at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK by Hans-Joachim Watzke (Chairman of the Board of Management), Carsten Cramer (BVB Managing Director) and Sebastian Kehl (BVB Sporting Director) for reaching 400 appearances in Black & Yellow. With 427 BVB matches to his name, Reus is now fourth on the list of all-time record appearance-makers. (jb)
