BVB and Marc Bartra agree to four year contract

Borussia Dortmund are about to sign the Spanish international Marc Bartra. BVB have agreed a four year contract until the 30.June 2020 with the 25 year old central defender. However there are still a few details that need to be ironed out with his club FC Barcelona.

Bartra played for the FC Barcelona Youth Academy "La Masia" ever since he was eleven years old and later he played for Spain's youth national sides right through from U18 to U21 (33 appearances). He moved up to the Catalan professional squad at the age of 19 and made his Primera Division debut in 2010. He has made six appearances for Spain's A team to date and has played 59 games in the Primera Division and 22 games in the UEFA Champions League for FC Barcelona.
