Borussia Dortmund signs Gonzalo Castro

The eight times German Champions Borussia Dortmund have signed Gonzalo Castro from Bundesliga rivals Bayer 04 Leverkusen for season 2015/2016.

The 27 year old, who has played for the German national team five times and has scored 25 goals in 286 Bundesliga games and also provided a further 57 assists, has signed a four year contract.

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc noted: “we are happy that we have added an experienced, technically competent midfield player to our team, who can play in a variety of positions.”
