Klopp reaffirms commitment to BVB

Thirty-one percent of the readers of Spanish sports paper Marca would like to have Jürgen Klopp as coach of FC Barcelona, while Thomas Tuchel, the Mainz coach, revealed in the build up to Saturday’s match that he would love to see his colleague hosting the German TV show “Wetten, dass…?” (Wanna bet...?). And Jürgen Klopp? The Dortmund coach told “BVB total!” that he would only host the show in Barcelona before reaffirming his commitment to Borussia Dortmund.

“No one needs to worry,“ said Klopp on Saturday about rumours that he’s in line to become the next head coach of FC Barcelona. Klopp is contracted to BVB until the summer of 2018 and has repeatedly stressed that he has never broken a contract. He said: “We are all still a bit in love with this club and with the way things are handled here.”

Thomas Tuchel’s suggestion (“I’m convinced that the show ‘Wetten, dass…?’ would come to life again if he would host it, and then I would also watch it again”), which of course was not meant seriously, brought a laugh from Klopp who in same joking manner replied that he would love to host the show – but only if it takes place in Barcelona…
