History remade: The new BVB cup jersey 2024/25

Borussia Dortmund will wear the new BVB cup jersey for the 2024/25 season for the first time in the friendly against Thai first division club BG Pathum United (21 July) as part of the Asia tour. The players will also wear the new jersey in the test against Japanese first division club Cerezo Osaka on 24 July.

Under the motto “History Remade”, the jersey design combines elements inspired by jerseys worn at legendary moments in the past. These include the 2013 UEFA Champions League final. It’s a patchwork of classic designs in which the BVB players want to write the next chapter in the club’s history. The players will wear the jersey for their matches in the DFB Pokal and the UEFA Champions League.

The special characteristic of the cup jersey is the material from which it is made. With the innovative RE:FIBRE technology from PUMA, polyester that is no longer needed is turned into new fabric. Old turns into new - again and again!

From the start of the 2024/25 season our jerseys are made using the RE:FIBRE initiative.

It was Bellingham\u2019s first foul in the game. Günter fired the resulting free kick just past the left-hand post.<\/p>\nBVB responded to going a man down by bringing on Pascal Groß for Fabio Silva, and had hardly any extended periods of possession thereafter. The match took place almost entirely in the Dortmund half. Kobel brilliantly tipped a follow-up shot from Treu around the post in the 69th minute, and also showed strong reactions to save Suzuki\u2019s shot, which had taken a wicked deflection off Bensebaini, in the 74th minute.
