We have to be honest and admit that we didn\u2019t achieve the goals we set for ourselves. That stung for a while. But eventually, you reach a point where you have to let it go because it can\u2019t be changed. That\u2019s why I tried to look ahead at some point and get excited about the new season, the new team, and the new signings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>Was there a decisive moment, or was it more of a gradual process?<br>\n <\/b>\u201cFor me, it was more of a gradual process. There were moments here and there when I thought, \u2018Hey, this can\u2019t be right.\u2019 But with a little distance \u2013 a vacation, clearing my head, and stepping away from the daily grind of soccer \u2013 I managed to put the whole thing behind me, move on, and look ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>You\u2019re a very emotional person, and you openly express those emotions both on and off the field \u2013 whether it\u2019s joy, fighting spirit, or sadness. Then anger, too.
