The Soccer Tournament (TST), the 7v7 world championship, today announced the group pairing and schedule for Borussia Dortmund as a part of its official 32-team field reveal for the inaugural event in Cary, NC June 1-4.

Like the World Cup, TST’s 32-team field is split into eight groups of four teams. Dortmund will headline Group A, which also features Hoosiers Army, Kingdom FC, and Newtown Pride FC.  

Borussia Dortmund’s TST team will feature a mixture of BVB club legends, coaches from Dortmund and the U.S. and other high-profile personalities. Already announced roster members include former BVB players Roman Weidenfeller and Dede, as well as media personality Noah Beck.

Dortmund’s first group stage game is scheduled against Hoosiers Army on June 1 at 3:00 pm CEST. Their second game will be against Newtown Pride FC on June 1 at 11:15 pm CEST. Dortmund’s final group stage game against Kingdom FC will be on June 2 at 3:00 pm CEST. 

All TST games will be available to watch live during the course of the event, with viewing information to be revealed in the coming weeks. Current game times are subject to change. 

Participants in this year’s tournament include soccer stars Cesc Fabregas (Como 1907), Clint Dempsey (Team Dempsey), Landon Donovan (Sneaky Fox FC), and former NFL wide receiver Chad OchoCinco Johnson (Nati SC), among many others.
