Injury forces Reus to withdraw from international duty

Borussia Dortmund captain Marco Reus, 29, has been forced to withdraw from the Germany squad for the upcoming international fixtures in the Netherlands and France due to a knee problem.

Following the completion of an MRI this Sunday morning, Borussia Dortmund's doctors got in contact with the medical department of the Germany national team.

The decision was subsequently made that Reus would remain in Dortmund for treatment over the international break.
