The opponents and dates for Borussia Dortmund’s ASIA TOUR 2022 (21 November to 1 December) have been confirmed.

Instead of their arranged match in Indonesia, which cannot take place due to government regulations to improve safety measures at football stadiums, BVB will play against the Johor Southern Tigers in Malaysia on 28 November. The Lion City Sailors from Singapore will be the first opponents for the eight-time German champions on 24 November, while the tour will conclude with a clash against the Vietnamese national team in Hanoi on 30 November.

The BVB contingent for the trip, which will take place during the World Cup in Qatar, will consist of the remaining members of the first-team squad and several players from the youth teams. Beyond the scheduled fixtures, an usually large number of special events with local people have been planned, which should make the trip a formative experience for the players too.

In the meantime, BVB will also maintain close ties with its Indonesian fans and fan clubs. Digital workshops on fan relations and fan culture, visits by BVB legends and the Evonik Football Academy, as well as joint projects with the Bundesliga are all in the works.
