Two new additions, Beyhan Ametov and Anargyros Kampetsis, were present at an U23 training session in Brackel, with both already having fully trained with the team and displaying their full commitment.

The 18-year-old German U18 national team player Beyhan Ametov comes from FC Cologne. The right or left winger scored 12 goals in 22 games last season in the U19 Bundesliga West and receives a two-year contract. For BVB coach Siewert, Ametov is no stranger, having been aware of his talent from various DFB courses and his time as a DFB coach. The BVB scouts too have long had this player on their radar.

The 18-year-old Greek U19 national player Anargyros Kampetsis comes from the Olympiakos Piraeus U20 side and has signed for Borussia Dortmund for four years. The 1.84m tall midfielder is considered a classic number 9 with great prospects. (jv)
