Justin Butler leaves the U23s

Justin Butler is leaving the Borussia Dortmund U23s to join league rivals SV Sandhausen with immediate effect. The 23-year-old's contract would have expired this summer.

The dual German-American citizen moved to BVB from league rivals FC Ingolstadt in the summer of 2023 and made 25 appearances for the Black & Yellows. He scored one goal. The 1.88-metre-tall striker was deployed on the wing and at centre forward.
