Coach Niko Kovac will have to do without Ramy Bensebaini, who is out due to a muscle strain, and the long-term absentee Felix Nmecha. New signings Daniel Svensson and Carney Chukwuemeka, who was ruled out at short notice against Stuttgart, have been registered for the Champions League and will be travelling with BVB for the first time. Returning player Salih Özcan is also involved.

The team already completed their final training session this morning at the training ground in Brackel. After landing in Portugal, Niko Kovac and Emre Can will travel to the press conference (from 20:00 CET, live on BVB TV) at the Estádio José Alvalade XXI, where they will play on Tuesday evening. On this occasion, the team will not be given a tour of the pitch the day before.
