Borussia Dortmund set to sign Mats Hummels

Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement in principle with FC Bayern Munich over the transfer of defender Mats Hummels.

The centre-back, who previously played for BVB between 2008 and 2016, scoring 25 goals in 306 competitive appearances for the Black & Yellows, is set to return to his former club ahead of the new season.

The transfer remains subject to a medical, which has yet to be carried out. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the contents of the transfer agreement.
