Ciro Immobile moves to Borussia Dortmund

Benvenuto – Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of Ciro Immobile. The Italian international, who finished the season as top scorer in Serie A (22 goals), will be joining the eight-time German champions from Torino FC on 1 July 2014.

”With Ciro Immobile we are getting a versatile and dynamic striker who has established himself in a top European league in an impressive manner. His outstanding qualities fit perfectly with the profile required by Borussia Dortmund“, said sporting director Michael Zorc.

The 24-year-old Italian signed a five-year contract with BVB on Monday. Both clubs have agreed not to disclose details of the deal.
