Julian Weigl undergoes successful ankle surgery

Borussia Dortmund's Germany international Julian Weigl has successfully undergone surgery on the ankle injury he sustained in last Saturday's away match against FC Augsburg.

The operation was conducted by Dr. Karl-Heinz Bauer at the Klinikum Westfalen hospital in Dortmund-Brackel. The doctors believe Weigl will now be out of action for the next three to four months.
