Three new signings for the BVB women
25-year-old Ann-Sophie Vogel is making the switch from VfL Bochum to Dortmund. The midfielder has played some 165 matches in the Women's Regionalliga West, having played for both VfL Bochum and Borussia Bocholt. "In Ann-Sophie, we are getting a very important piece of the puzzle for the coming season," said BVB head coach Sulewski. "She has a very strong left foot and brings a lot of pace. That is enormously important for us."
22-year-old Paula Reimann is joining from 2. Bundesliga side FSV Gütersloh. Having played more than 105 competitive matches, the midfielder brings a lot of experience to BVB. Head coach Sulewski had the following to say on the new signing: "We are bringing in a very experienced player. She is very versatile and I am very much looking forward to working together in the new season." And Reimann is also looking forward to the time ahead: "I have a lot of ties with BVB. My goal is, of course, to celebrate the greatest possible success with the team and win promotion."
17-year-old Nova Wicke is joining the BVB women from the U17s team of FSV Gütersloh. Wicke played a total of 32 games for Gütersloh in the B-Juniorinnen Bundesliga West / South-West. "In Nova, we are getting a very young player with bags of potential," said Sulewski about the new signing. "We want to develop her on and off the pitch." "I'm very proud to be able to play for this team and get to know everyone,” said Wicke about the transfer.
