Qualification for the FIFA Club World Cup

European Participants:
Twelve teams from Europe participated in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. Four of these spots were allocated to the winners of the UEFA Champions League from 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. The remaining eight spots were awarded based on a four-year ranking of the Champions League. This ranking takes into account the teams' performances in the respective seasons and determines which teams can represent Europe at the new Club World Cup.

Participants from other continents:
Teams from other continents also qualifed through their major club competitions, comparable to the European Champions League. Additionally, a ranking played a crucial role in awarding the coveted starting spots for the tournament.
